The Sad Truth

I have been disappointed so many times in my life that I've actually become immune to people's constant bullshit and annoying acts. It is amazing how some people can realize the change, yet ignore their acts that prompted that change. I am a firm believer in karma, and know that everything happens for a reason. Even though I refuse to be disrespectful and mean in response to their careless acts, I have enough self respect and honor to know my limits and when enough is truly enough. I guess what I'm trying to say is to respond to hate with love, however, when the hate become too much just move on and never look back. There is no need to respond with anger and hurt, believe me your distance and ignorance will get them thinking and just maybe, and I do mean maybe they will learn and think twice before they act again.

Missing In Action...

It has been a very long time since I last made an entry on this blog, however I have finally decided to return to my roots and do what I like most, which is writing about the issues, things, and topics that both interest and excite me the most. As such, I am going to do my very best to post as much as consistently as possible about my latest beauty finds, fashion interests, and life in general. Perfume Of The Month - Bond No. 9 I LOVE NEW YOR ~ For Mothers

From the very first moment that I smelled this Bond No. 9 I love New York for Mothers at Sephora I knew that I was sold for life. This easy-to-wear eau de parfum is luxury inside a bottle with a scent that seduces even the least romantic ones.

Toast To A Better Life

Today's post is a toast to a awesome future. Starting today there will be many changes in my life. Though most of them are related to my mental state and lifestyle there are, nonetheless, very important. Everything from my diet, to my attitude and outlook on life is going to have a strong and drastic change. No more slacking and/or riding through days without any productive and positive outcome. From now on everything matters and each moment of every single day should be spent doing something great.

There is exactly six months left till the end of this year, which means that every moment counts more than ever, so I better get moving. 

Being the first day, I took things moderately, ate well, dressed well, made both of my blog posts, made dinner, went for a walk, and even managed to do minor cleaning around the house. For a start I'll accept today's productivity, but will only continue to better myself every day and surely keep my loyal readers updated on my progress.

I miss the days when we would wait impatiently to receive some sort of letter or news from the one's we loved. Nowadays all we have to do is get on Facebook or Skype and we are immediately connected with whomever we want. There is no more anticipation, surprise or excitement towards something so simple yet so nice.

Swarovski Cross Pendant Gift

I absolutely adore this Swarovski cross necklace that I received from my hubby for no particular reason or occasion. I love getting little trinkets like this to lift up my spirits on days where I do not feel too well. And even though his simple care is all I need, a little unexpected present is always appreciated.

Happiness...

Sometimes I wonder what I could do to be richer, to be successful, to be thinner, stronger, faster, but more importantly I always want to be happier. I long for days that I can rest my head and know that everything is alright. That everyone I love is close to me, happy and healthy. I often think of ways to make myself better in aspects of my life, sadly I almost never come through with my hopes and dreams. For some reason, there is always something setting me back, and today I have finally found what the is: ME! There is nothing and no one in this world that could cause the delay of the realization of my dreams, I am the CEO of my own life and it is far time that I take things into my own hands and fix all negative parts of my life. It sounds impossible at first, but it is a challenge I am willing to take no matter what! From this moment on I will keep a public journal of my deepest hopes and dreams, and record all of my actions and work towards the achievement of my goals. This time I will push myself harder, and truly fight for my happiness. This is not to say that I am extremely depressed and unhappy, rather that I am not satisfied with certain aspects of my life, and will do whatever it takes to have a GREAT life. A life that I share with the love of my life, our families, and hopefully and family of our own someday soon. I pledge to make every day better than yesterday!

From Paris With Love

They say a picture represents a thousand words... so how come I am speechless? Like many Paris is one of my favourite cities. I have been lucky enough to briefly pass by one of the most historic places in the world, yet wish to see Paris like one should - with the one you love! This picture is a pure representation of myself whenever I would be in the magical city: looking about hoping that one day I would share it with the love of my life. Now that I have found my love I cannot wait to visit this land of fashion, fun, and macaroons!

Make A Wish

One of my favourite things to do is make lists about everything and anything. Seriously, I make lists for almost everything in my life... things I have to do, things I want to get, places I want to visit, books I want to read, groceries, resolutions, expenses, bills, even this list goes on and on. Nonetheless, I enjoy this habit of mine, so much so that I go over all the lists I have multiple times a day, constantly making adjustments and adding new items to my ongoing chain of hopes, dreams and responsibilities. Among them is one that I cherish the most, the one that holds my most desired and highly anticipated wishes.
